Palo Verde is committed to serving our clients with a dedication to enhancing the quality of their outdoor living experience. We are a family-owned and operated full-service design, construction, and consulting firm specializing in complete backyard environments. With over four decades of combined experience in the Arizona swimming pool industry, we have the knowledge and experience to handle all projects from basic to complex.

Jay & Kaylan

Jay started in the pool industry in the late 80s servicing pools. As the years passed, he continued to grow and advance his knowledge learning all the intricacies of building and design. Today, Palo Verde Pools has evolved to be a family-owned business that offers over 40 years of combined experience and is your complete source for creating resort-inspired outdoor living spaces. Our expertise and caliber of the product paired with our open lines of communication from initial concept discussions to your final orientation have helped us become a leader in our industry.

Jay is an Arizona native, and Kaylan is a US Navy veteran transplant from the east coast who both love living life in the southwest desert. We embrace sharing our family moments outdoors, and our goal is to help you attain the same enjoyment in the backyard of your dreams.

When we aren’t in the office helping to create your unique outdoor living space, you can find us on the golf course, off-roading, or scuba diving. We are true advocates for living life outside. We have four children, and Ruger our English Bulldog.

Betsy – Designer

Betsy has an extensive Architectural background with a sub-specialty in architectural lighting for over 30 years. Betsy and her husband share 3 children, 2 precious grand-babies, and 2 yellow labs. Originally from Washington, they love to travel and experience new destinations.

Construction Coordinator

Our construction coordinators are bi-lingual. They our liaison with subcontractors, communicating and coordinating schedules for your backyard build.

Brian – Superintendent

Brian started building pools at just 13 years old when he jumped in and helped a neighbor from down the street while living in Michigan. As he continued in the industry, he expanded his involvement and now has experience in sales, design, labor, and project management. He has lived and worked in the pool industry across Arizona, Georgia, and Nevada. After a 12-year stint in the military serving our country in both the Marine Corps and the National Guard, Brian returned to the pool industry honing his skills with Luxury pool builders in Las Vegas, Nevada. Brian moved from Vegas to Phoenix to join the Palo Verde team with his long-time girlfriend, bringing that high-end experience with him. When he isn’t busy working on a pool, he can be found planning his next travel adventure or hiking.

I cannot say enough great things about working with Palo Verde. Kaylan and Jay are outstanding! They will work within your budget, and if you need suggestions Kaylan is full of amazing ideas. They are the most communicative and responsive of anyone I've ever worked with. They only use subcontractors that they have worked with for many years, and the masons are actually Palo Verde employees. I have no complaints about any workers that were at our home. If there was a minor issue, Kaylan was on it and had it resolved; but, I can honestly say we had very few. They went above and beyond in every way, and I couldn't recommend them more.

Palo Verde & Kaylan did an awesome job with our pool. This is our first pool so we had no experience and got 6 bids We decided to go with Palo Verde for many reasons. Their prices were fair and Kaylan was so good at communicating with me. It was a long process but I truly believe it is with all the pool companies. There is a major shortage of contractors and supplies. We understand this because we have a Properties company. Kaylan did a great job of helping me design our dream pool and it turned out fabulous. Our pool took about a year and it's been done since early 2022. We have no complaints and have thoroughly enjoyed our resort like pool.
